Our AML and Verification Policy

We take money laundering seriously. This page sets out, in plain terms, how Mrpacho Casino verifies who you are, when we ask for extra evidence, and what we do to keep criminal money off our platform.

Our Anti Money Laundering Commitment

Mrpacho Casino operates under licence 8048/JAZ2023-166 issued by Curaçao eGaming, and our operator NovaForge Ltd answers to that authority for the way we handle money. Since our launch in 2023 we have run a risk-based AML and counter-terrorism-financing program that covers customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, record keeping and suspicious activity reporting. Every rule on this page exists because our licence requires it, not because we enjoy paperwork.

In practice this means we must know who our players are, understand where their funds come from when the situation calls for it, and report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities. We cannot tip you off when a report has been made, and we will not process a transaction we reasonably suspect involves the proceeds of crime. These obligations apply equally to AUD deposits, crypto transfers and every other payment method we accept.

How Mrpacho Verifies Your Account

When verification happens

Verification runs in stages. At registration we check that your details are consistent and that you are at least 18 years old. Before your first withdrawal we complete full identity verification, because our licence does not let us pay money out to an unverified person. Beyond that, we re-verify at set thresholds, when your betting pattern changes sharply, or when a payment method on your account raises a flag.

  • Registration: name, date of birth, address, email and phone confirmed against internal checks.
  • First withdrawal: full document check before any funds leave your account.
  • Thresholds and triggers: additional checks when cumulative deposits, withdrawals or unusual activity reach levels set in our internal risk policy.
  • Payment method changes: any new card, e-wallet or crypto address is verified before use.

Documents we ask for

Three categories of evidence do most of the work. A government photo ID proves you exist and are of age, a proof of address ties you to a real location, and payment method evidence proves the money moving through your account is actually yours. In some cases we ask for a source of funds on top of these, which we explain further down this page.

  • Photo ID: passport, national ID card or driver licence, valid and showing all four corners.
  • Proof of address: utility bill, bank statement or official government letter issued within the last 3 months.
  • Payment method: photo of your card with the middle digits covered, a screenshot of your e-wallet profile, or a signed message from your crypto wallet address.

Our Verification Steps Explained

You upload documents once, through the Documents tab in your account cashier, and our compliance team takes it from there. The process is deliberately narrow so that fewer people ever see your material.

  • 1. Upload your documents in the secure Documents section of your account, in colour and clearly legible.
  • 2. Automated screening checks your ID against sanctions lists and validates the document itself.
  • 3. A compliance officer reviews the file manually and cross-checks it against your account details.
  • 4. We email you the outcome, usually within 24 hours and in all cases within 72 hours.
  • 5. If anything is unclear, we contact you with a specific request rather than a vague rejection.

How your documents are protected

Files are transferred over encrypted connections and stored on servers with restricted access. Only trained compliance staff can open them, every access is logged, and we never sell or share your identity data with marketers. Disclosure happens in one situation only: when a regulator or law enforcement agency with proper authority requests it under our licence obligations.

When We Ask for Source of Funds

Most players will never face this request. It applies when the money moving through your account does not match the profile we hold for you, for example a single large deposit, a run of deposits well above your usual pattern, or a big withdrawal shortly after account creation. Our licence obliges us to understand the origin of funds in these situations, and we cannot waive the requirement at player request.

Acceptable evidence depends on how you earn. A payslip or employment contract suits salaried players, bank statements show savings, and documents such as a property sale contract, dividend statement or business accounts cover other cases. Crypto players can evidence the exchange or wallet the funds came from. We assess what you send in context, and everything stays between you and our compliance team.

How We Monitor Your Transactions

Every deposit and withdrawal is screened by automated systems that look for structuring, rapid deposit-and-withdraw cycles, third-party payments and other indicators set by our regulator. Legitimate play passes through untouched, and the vast majority of withdrawals are never delayed by monitoring. When something does look wrong, a human reviews it before we act.

Our core rule is that winnings go back the way the money came in. Withdrawals are paid to the same card, e-wallet or crypto address you deposited from wherever technically possible, which stops players from laundering funds through accounts funded by someone else. We also enforce the limits in the table below, which exist partly for your protection and partly for ours.

Daily withdrawal cap7,500 AUD
Monthly withdrawal cap75,000 AUD

What Happens If Verification Fails

If your documents do not pass, we tell you why and give you the chance to supply better evidence, since blurry photos and expired IDs cause most failures. Until verification completes, withdrawals stay on hold while your account remains open for play with any funds already deposited. If you simply do not provide the requested documents within 30 days, we suspend the account.

Where we cannot establish who you are at all, or where evidence points to fraud, multiple accounts or third-party funding, we close the account and return any confirmable balance to the original payment method. Confirmed money laundering triggers a suspicious activity report to the authorities, account closure and permanent exclusion. You can question any outcome through our support team at [email protected], available 24 hours a day, and unresolved disputes go to the Curaçao eGaming licence authority.

How Long We Keep Your Documents

Verification records, transaction logs and account history are retained for a minimum of 5 years after your account closes. Our licence requires this window so that Curaçao eGaming and law enforcement can audit or investigate historic activity on demand, and deleting records early would breach those obligations. Retained material sits under the same access controls as live verification files.

Once the retention period expires and no legal hold applies, we delete your identity documents and personal data through secure destruction. If you close your account and want confirmation of what we still hold, contact support and we will itemise it for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does verification take at Mrpacho Casino?

Most checks finish within 24 hours, and all cases are resolved within 72 hours of receiving clear documents. You will get an email either way, with a specific reason if something is missing.

Do you verify crypto withdrawals the same way?

Yes. Crypto payouts follow the same identity checks as any other method, and we also verify that the withdrawal address belongs to you, typically through a signed message from your wallet.

Why is my withdrawal on hold?

The usual cause is a pending first-withdrawal verification or a document we have requested. Checks are also possible if a transaction triggered our monitoring systems. Contact support and we will tell you exactly which case applies.

Can I use someone else's card or e-wallet to deposit?

No. Every payment method must be in your own name, and deposits funded by third parties are returned to the source. This rule comes directly from our AML licence obligations.

Who can see the documents I upload?

Only trained compliance staff, with every access logged. Your files are encrypted in storage and never shared with third parties except where a regulator or law enforcement agency legally requires it.
